hello!

howdy... i go by a few names, but you can call me carrie, sam, or sammy. i'm an amateur webdev, intermediate artist, and professional dog. i have another site that's more focused on my "brand" and business and all that. furry commissions, mostly. you can find my art on there though, if you're interested.

i made this site because web development is a lot of fun to me... i love designing pages and figuring out how to cobble them together with just vsstudio, my own two paws, and a dream. so i had the idea to create a more personal-oriented site where most of the pages are completely unique! it's an exercise in coding, design, creativity, and writing. actually, half of the challenge to me is the writing part. not that i don't have much to say (i never shut up, in fact), but that i have so much to say that i get decision paralysis. i also have adhd, which doesn't help.

i'm a 21 year old illustration student from the midwest region of the usa. i'm becoming less and less interested in labels, but while i'm still hanging on to them, here they are:

• butch lesbian is the one i identify with the most. everything else is just there for specificity's sake, but "butch lesbian" is the only one i am enthusiastic to call myself.
• adhd, ptsd, etc. i know it's considered tacky to list these out nowadays, but my disabilities are quite important to my whole identity. it's kind of impossible for them to not be.
• furry. yes this is just as (probably more, actually) important to my identity as all that other stuff.
